All sudoku puzzles must have at least all but one number shown in the clues, so the usual 9×9 puzzles must have at least 8 of the 9 numbers, whereas the monster 16×16 puzzles must have at least 15 different numbers in the initial clues in order to be able to solve it – just a little sudoku trivia!
