Site update

This month the Sudoku Odyssey entire site is updated and now includes a live Journey Journal section where readers can post comments and puzzles will be updated daily. The new site is now visible to everyone starting New Year’s Day.

Illustration work

Last year, Barbara Chapman sketched to ink some of the illustrations for the last half of volume 1, Suki and the Beasts. They include:

1. trowel used by Suki
2. queen’s flower bulb
3. sugar-star cutting
4. Qin-Li spot – she’s looking happy holding a Queen’s flower bulb
5. Qin-Li spot – kneeling to see the first Queen’s flower bloom
6. Suki playing Trick-Squares on the banks of the Tapuk River
7. foolish, funny hats worn by Suki and her Papa during their test

Book cover

Suki and the Beasts book cover design was unveiled at MegaCon 2008 in Orlando, Florida on March 7^th–9^th where 25 posters were given away. Twenty-five more posters were given away at JACON 2008, May 16^th–18^th.
